Use 3 darts for each even double from 20 to 2 + double 1. Finish each double in 501-style, that is if you hit single 20 when aiming for double 20 use your next dart to try to finish double 10 and so on. For example: Current double is 18. First dart hit single 18, now aim with 2nd dart for double 9. You hit double 9 with your 2nd dart. You use the 3rd dart to aim for double 18 again. You hit double 18 and therefore got 2 finishes (D9 + D18)!

If you fail to finish a double with your 3 darts you start from the double 20 (or after last locked double) again. If you for example finish double 10 three times (expert mode), that double is now locked. If you then fail to finish the double 8 you don't have to restart from double 20 since you locked double 10. If you bust the score, remove your darts and continue the game.
